Full Time - 37 hours per week

Hybrid - 2 to 3 days per week in either Newport, South Wales, Titchfield, Hampshire, Edinburgh or Darlington offices.

Our client, a large prestigious government organisation, is seeking two Statistical Analysts to join their team on an initial 6 month basis. The successful candidates will be responsible for managing the production process of statistics, analysing and interpreting data, and communicating key messages to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinating survey teams and/or compiler areas to ensure timely and high-quality data deliveries.
  • Analysing and interpreting data to understand movements and identify issues in data processes, systems, and methods.
  • Clear communication with stakeholders through various channels and delivering key messages to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Effective planning to ensure teams are sufficiently resourced, timetables are set, and quality assurance processes are adhered to.
  • Engaging in a culture of curiosity to identify trends, stories, and errors within statistics.
  • Maintaining up-to-date technical and analytical skills and participating in continuous improvement.

Experience in a Data Analytics setting and knowledge of Python, PySpark, or RStudio are highly advantageous for this role.
