Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Optometrist to join our team at Inspired Selections. As a Part-time Optometrist, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive eye examinations, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to the success of our practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive eye examinations, including pre-screening when necessary, with 40-minute testing times.
  • Perform examinations using a phoropter and maintain accurate computer-based records.
  • Maintain a balance between clinical excellence and commercial awareness, contributing to the success of the practice.
  • Participate in the bonus scheme, where 10% of second-pair sales are shared monthly with front-of-house staff based on clinic participation.
Requirements
  • Newly qualified Optometrists up to a maximum of 3 years of experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong clinical skills paired with an understanding of the commercial aspects of optometry.
  • Comfortable using a phoropter and managing computer-based patient records.
Benefits
  • Competitive salary ranging from £50,000 to £55,000 per annum, adjusted based on experience.
  • 33 days of annual leave, including bank holidays.
  • Bonus scheme: Entitlement to one pair of glasses per year, plus a 50% friends and family discount.
