We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Head Registered Veterinary Nurse to lead our veterinary nursing team at GLG Vets in Sutton. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional veterinary care and treatment to animals, performing routine check-ups, surgeries, and emergency care as required.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for each patient, ensuring seamless communication with the veterinary team.
  • Collaborate with a dedicated team of veterinary nurses and support staff to ensure the smooth operation of the clinic.
  • Develop and implement effective nursing strategies to enhance patient care and improve clinical outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development of the veterinary nursing team, providing guidance and support to colleagues.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Veterinary degree (MRCVS or equivalent) and a strong commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire the veterinary nursing team.
  • Experience in both routine and emergency veterinary care, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
