Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage shift operations and activities, ensuring efficient workflow and productivity.
  • Implement strict cost control measures for labour and equipment while planning ahead to support operational needs.
  • Ensure site security is maintained in compliance with CAA and company regulations.
  • Effectively manage staff and resources across the warehouse, ramp, and office to optimize productivity and meet operational demands.
  • Produce accurate and detailed handling reports, suitable for internal senior management and customer use, as required.
  • Monitor shift attendance, conduct sickness interviews, and manage disciplinary processes in compliance with company policy.
  • Ensure adherence to Health & Safety, training, and quality standards, while meeting all statutory, regulatory, and company policy requirements.
  • Maintain excellent communication with relevant internal and external stakeholders to support smooth operations.
  • Supervise and ensure the smooth operation of the reception area.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of industry experience
  • Strong knowledge of Cargo, Warehouse, and Ramp operations
  • Effective leadership, organisational, and communication skills suitable for a busy 24/7 cargo operation
  • In-depth understanding of office functions within an operations environment
  • Strong customer focus with a commitment to high quality standards and service levels
