About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and reliable HGV driver to join our Semi-Retail team at the Shropshire Depot. As a representative of Cotteswold Dairy, you will be responsible for delivering dairy and dairy-related products to semi-retail customers on intensive multi-drop rounds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely drive an appropriate vehicle in line with your licence category, remaining courteous at all times while delivering excellent customer service and building good customer relationships.
  • The punctual delivery of dairy and dairy-related products to semi-retail customers, observing stock rotation and conducting your duties to the highest standards.
  • Be a team player, prepared to cover holiday and sickness periods, and work well alone, problem-solving on the road.
Working Hours

This is a full-time role, working 48 hours per week (rostered average) on a rota basis, including night-time hours through to morning as required over seven days per week. Start times vary based on the individual rounds.

Requirements
  • A clean UK driving licence Category C1 or above.
  • A positive attitude, with a keen eye for detail, and the ability to commute to work at the shift times indicated.
  • Flexibility to work the full shift pattern, including nights and weekends.
