Main Responsibilities

The Senior Contracts Officer will play a key role in supporting the transformation of the NHS Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland Integrated Care System by implementing new contracting models and ensuring value for money in contracts.

Key duties include:

  • Participating in the implementation of innovative contracting models to support the system's strategic commissioning and transformation agenda
  • Ensuring contracts deliver value for money, service transformation, and best practice
  • Establishing constructive commercial relationships with providers and managing contract compliance and delivery of service standards
  • Contributing to service reviews, service specification development, and pathway redesign to secure best value for money and highest quality health services

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
