Job Overview:

Galliford Try is seeking an experienced Electrical Installation Specialist to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the electrical installation and maintenance of water treatment facilities, wastewater treatment plants, and other related infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for the health and safety of themselves and others

Carrying out electrical installations and maintenance to the required standard and within the required time frame

Complete site documentation as required

Red-lining on site 'Issued for Construction' drawings, marking them 'As-Built'

Innovate, providing suggestions and ideas to the Site Supervisor/Manager for improved delivery

Check goods delivered to site are supplied as per order

Identifying changes to the works information and reporting to the Site Supervisor/Manager

Emergency 'call out' fault finding and diagnostics

Requirements:

Industrial electrical installation/maintenance background

An industry-applicable ONC/NVQ/City & Guilds qualification

Demonstrable experience of working within the water and/or wastewater and general industries

Testing & Inspection qualification an advantage but not a necessity

Knowledge and understanding of electrical drawings and schematics

18th Edition wiring regulations

Experience on installation of SWA, Tray, Trunking, Plastic Conduit etc

Knowledge of instrumentation used in the water/general industry

ECS, SSSTS, Confined Space Training, EUSR (Clean Water Hygiene)
