Job Summary

We are looking for an Automotive Engineer to join our team in Pontefract.

The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of commercial vehicles, including trucks and vans.

This role requires a strong understanding of automotive systems and the ability to use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex problems.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements
  • Diagnose and repair vehicle problems, including engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical issues
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
  • Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex issues
  • Maintain accurate records of all work performed and parts used
  • Communicate with customers about vehicle issues and repair recommendations
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques
