Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food and Beverage Team Leader to join our team at The Golden Lion. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for leading a shift, ensuring exceptional customer service, and supporting the smooth operation of our food and beverage department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serving and Leading: Serve food and drink, take room reservations, and provide exceptional customer service to our guests.
  • Team Management: Lead a team of hospitality professionals, ensuring they receive the necessary support and guidance to deliver high standards of service.
  • Shift Management: Manage a shift, ensuring the smooth operation of the food and beverage department, and maintaining high standards of customer service.
  • Staffing and Scheduling: Maintain accurate staffing levels, ensuring adequate coverage to meet payroll budgets, under the guidance of your manager.
  • Guest Relations: Be the first point of contact for guest issues, resolving problems promptly and professionally.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience working in a busy, food-led operation, with exposure to supervisory or management duties.
  • Skills: Proactive, flexible, and able to work well under pressure.
  • Education: Relevant hospitality or management qualifications.
