- Monitor and audit tender and project teams to ensure consistency in methodology and thoroughness of risk management application across GPC engineering activities.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of technical risk management processes and tools, develop performance indicators, and identify areas of improvement.
- Ensure lessons learned and associated knowledge regarding successful risk identification, management, and mitigations are transferred across GPC tender and project teams.
- Communicate effectively across the wider Subsea7 organization and with Alliance partners to learn, share knowledge, best practices, and competence, and ensure that GPC technical risk management processes integrate effectively with all stakeholders.
- Develop and promote a positive risk management culture throughout the GPC engineering organization.
Requirements:
- Degree-educated in a technical discipline (e.g., business management, engineering, quantity surveying, law, etc.).
- Experience in risk assessment/management, particularly in the delivery of major engineering projects or in the construction industry.
- Demonstrate knowledge of project risk management principles.
- Experience in facilitating risk/opportunity brainstorming workshops.
- Experience with risk management database and action tracking tools.
- Enhanced interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with a variety of stakeholders across international and cultural boundaries.
- Desire to promote and enforce the application of risk management processes amongst project stakeholders.
- Pro-active mindset to question and influence individuals and processes to deliver continuous improvements in project risk management.
What We Offer:
- Career development with access to a range of learning and development opportunities.
- Flexible working arrangements, including hybrid, part-time, or flexitime working.
- Enhanced maternity/paternity leave/adoption leave.
