Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled Band 8 Pharmacist with clinical experience to join our team on an ongoing basis. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work full-time hours, Monday to Friday, although part-time hours may be considered for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical pharmacy services to patients in a hospital setting
  • Develop and implement pharmacy policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective medication use
  • Conduct medication reviews and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of excellence
Requirements
  • GPHC registration
  • Previous experience of more than six months in a UK-based pharmacy setting
  • Further professional development, including ACT or MMT accreditations (desired but not essential)
  • NVQ or equivalent pharmacy technician qualification
