Job Title: Audio Product Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Manager to lead our efforts in promoting strategic A/V technologies and enabling new audio/video services to fully exploit the capabilities of future TV technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage strategic relationships with content creators and service providers to promote A/V technologies.
  2. Incubate new technology and services moving from R&D into market deployment.
  3. Represent microTech Global Ltd in TV Standards Development at EU and National Level.
  4. Represent microTech Global Ltd in Regulatory activities at an EU and National Level.

We are looking for a dynamic and creative Product Manager who is passionate about TV and has a strategic understanding of how the industry will evolve in the future.

As the Product Manager, you will:
  1. Work with R&D to understand the future TV technology roadmap.
  2. Develop 'go to market' plans to promote future TV technology to the EU TV industry.
  3. Engage with EU content providers on how to create content for future TV products.
  4. Engage with Broadcast/Streaming platforms on how to deliver services for future TV products.
  5. Ensure all work is of a professional standard, paying due regard to safety, efficiency, cost-effectiveness, time scales, and the needs of microTech Global Ltd.
Requirements:
  1. BS or higher degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Natural Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or any related discipline.
  2. Solid understanding of audio/video fundamentals.
  3. Good understanding of content creation workflow, Production through Distribution.
  4. Good understanding of audio/video distribution, baseband through video encoding, CDN, broadcast.
  5. Able to represent professionally in external engagements with 3rd parties and strategic partners.
  6. An effective communicator able to clearly present at external events and conferences.
  7. Ability to create meaningful, engaging presentations and deliver them to diverse audiences.
  8. Ability to develop and execute strategies to achieve business objectives.
  9. Willingness to travel internationally to support business needs.
  10. Experience of working on a B2B basis in content creation or broadcast/streaming industries.
  11. Familiarity with consumer TV technologies.
