Job Summary:
The primary purpose of this role is to lead all warehousing, inventory management, and material movements between manufacturing sites in Canada and third-party warehouses, meeting operational KPIs, managing costs, optimizing third-party usage, and developing continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop 3-year goals and strategy for the Plant Logistics Organization based on manufacturing goals and industry benchmarks.
- Maintain compliance with corporate and government policies.
- Lead a group of 40+ employees and contractors in warehousing operations.
- Define needed Plant Logistics organization structure and capabilities.
- Develop and drive high-performance organizational culture.
- Lead digital transformation initiatives within warehousing and logistics operations.
