Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Van Driver to join our team. As a Van Driver, you will be responsible for delivering home furnishings across the region and surrounding areas, working closely with a Driver's Mate to manage customer communication and organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive to customer houses and deliver home furnishings in a safe and efficient manner
  • Load, unload, and deliver items to the customer's room of choice
  • Work collaboratively with a Driver's Mate to manage customer communication and organization
  • Meet daily delivery targets and ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines

Requirements

  • A full driving license that allows you to drive in the UK
  • No more than 5 points on your license
  • A basic understanding of English
  • Physical capability to lift heavy items
  • Subject to a satisfactory Basic Disclosure

Working Conditions

Shift times are favorable, working 4 days from 7, minimum 10-hour shift on a rolling rota. Shift patterns include weekends and bank holidays on a rota, with 3 weekends off in 7. The Company will pay you a minimum of 40 hours per week. Starting and finishing times can vary due to factors outside of our control, so there is an expectation that you will be prepared to work overtime in order to complete your allocated duties.

You will be provided with fully funded training to obtain a valid AFV certificate enabling you to drive our electric vehicles.
