Job Title: Crane Technician

We are seeking a skilled Crane Technician to join our team at Human Engineering. As a Crane Technician, you will be responsible for the commissioning, maintenance, inspection, and servicing of client cranes and lifting equipment, both onshore and offshore.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out commissioning, maintenance, inspection, and servicing of client cranes and lifting equipment.
  • Perform repairs and inspection on a range of electrical equipment and systems.
  • Conduct fault finding and repairs of hydraulic and mechanical equipment and systems.
  • Assist with spares identification and procurement.
  • Produce clear, factual documented reports.
  • Rigging and lift planning.
  • Comply with site HSEQ requirements.
  • Work safely with all site staff to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
  • Working experience within the offshore/marine crane industry.
  • Commissioning and fault finding on electro-mechanical and/or hydro-mechanical systems.
  • Ability to work on your own or within a team.
  • Ability to work at heights.
  • An in-depth knowledge of preventative maintenance on offshore cranes.
  • BOSIET certification.
  • IT literacy and ability to write reports.
  • UK driving license.
  • Ability to read schematics and engineering drawings and translate them into practice.
