Job Title: Apprentice Field Service Engineer

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and skilled field service engineer to join our expanding company, working with leading organizations in the area.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and flexible individual to provide routine maintenance, attend breakdowns, and perform warranty repairs and technical support to our customers on compressors and ancillary equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide routine maintenance and attend breakdowns to ensure minimal downtime for our customers.
  • Perform warranty repairs and technical support to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Work unsupervised and be self-motivated, with a high level of communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues.
  • Travel throughout the UK and overseas to meet business needs.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work unsupervised and be self-motivated.
  • High level of communication skills with both customers and colleagues.
  • Mechanical Engineering background or apprenticeship training.
  • Reciprocating compressor, maintenance, and service experience preferably with Belliss & Morcom Compressors and compressed air systems.
  • Electrical and control system knowledge, with the ability to troubleshoot problems associated with these systems.
  • Knowledge of associated ancillary equipment, dryers, cooling towers, etc.
What We Offer:
  • Salary - 40K - 50K DOE.
