About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Construction Director to lead our prestigious residential development project in Woolwich, London. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a transformative project that will deliver over 700 high-quality new homes, including 50% affordable housing, alongside retail, office spaces, and vibrant green public areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the construction and delivery of this major development, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
  • Oversee multiple phases of construction, including residential, commercial, and public spaces.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, architects, contractors, and local authorities to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to achieve key milestones.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and health and safety standards.
  • Drive innovation and sustainability throughout the project.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within construction, particularly on large-scale residential and mixed-use developments.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, health and safety regulations, and project management methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and deliver outstanding results.
