Position Overview:
In the role of Financial Reporting Specialist, you will be instrumental in delivering Financial Reporting Advisory services to clients, working in close partnership with the Audit team, and engaging directly with various businesses beyond the audit domain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare consolidated financial statements and collaborate with the Audit team on necessary disclosures.
- Serve as the primary contact for clients on most assignments.
- Provide Financial Reporting Advisory services, delivering technical accounting insights to clients.
- Work with businesses adhering to different frameworks, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
- Assist in merger and demerger activities, offering senior-level expertise in navigating complex financial reporting challenges.
Essential Experience:
- Demonstrated experience in financial reporting, audit, or consolidated accounts reporting under FRS 102 or IFRS.
- Strong technical accounting capabilities, particularly in FRS 102 and IFRS.
- Experience with consolidated financial statements and intricate reporting requirements.
- Ability to operate both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with clients and colleagues.
- Flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities and deadlines.
