Building Surveyor

Job Summary:
Sellick Partnership is seeking a highly skilled Building Surveyor to join their team on an interim basis. The successful candidate will provide professional building surveying services to ensure public buildings, residential garages, and other assets are compliant and well-maintained.
Key Responsibilities:- Preparation of Drawings and Specifications: Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and schedules of works for tendering and quotations, including contract conditions and preliminaries.
- Contract Administration: Administer contracts, issue certificates, and certify contract payments and final accounts, ensuring works are carried out in accordance with contract documentation.
- Budgeting and Estimating: Prepare budget estimates, costs, and outline specifications during the design process.
- Defect Identification and Repair: Identify building defects, provide recommendations for repair, and prepare estimates as required.
- Chartered Status: Chartered building surveyor with a track record of instructing and overseeing repairs and health and safety works.
- Contract Management: Experience of managing and client contracts, with a focus on compliance and capital programme delivery.
