About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Engineer/Senior Software Engineer to join our Product Engineering team at Best Buy Health.

This is a remote eligible position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home or one of our Best Buy Health locations.

As a key member of our software engineering team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining our platform and product, which serves patients and healthcare professionals.

You will collaborate closely with other disciplines, including biomedical engineering, data science, electronics engineering, and product science.

With a strong background in back-end or data engineering, you will help provide 24/7 support for the product, resolving live issues as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable and secure cloud-based systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Develop and maintain high-quality software components, ensuring reliability and performance
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards
Requirements
  • Strong experience with AWS cloud services, including EC2, S3, and Lambda
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
