About the Role
  • Maintain and service complex agricultural equipment from leading franchises such as CLAAS and Horsch, adhering strictly to manufacturer specifications.
  • Cultivate strong attention to detail, reporting defects and up-selling services where possible.
  • Analyse and rectify electrical, hydraulic, powertrain, and other faults to ensure optimal machine performance.
  • Utilise diagnostic software via laptop computer, with comprehensive training provided.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of various machinery types, ideally within the agricultural, commercial vehicle, or construction industries.
  • Demonstrate relevant qualifications within Land Based Engineering.
  • Hold a full driving licence and be comfortable operating machinery for testing purposes.
  • Be flexible to work weekends during peak harvest season when required.
Remuneration Package
  • Salary: £25,000 - £45,000 per annum (OTE based on experience), paid hourly.
  • Holiday entitlement: 24 days + 8 bank holidays.
  • Pension scheme: 3% employee contribution and 7% employer contribution.
  • Life assurance including dependent's pension.
  • Overtime available at enhanced rates (Mon-Sat time and a half, Sunday double time, bank holiday Monday double time & day in lieu).
  • Company van provision.
  • Ongoing training and professional development.
