Job Summary

We are seeking a confident and competent Line Manager to assist the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager with leading a team of support staff in our Supported Living service for adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior management in ensuring compliance with service specifications and regulatory standards.
  • Undertake regular auditing and monitoring to ensure the service remains compliant in all areas.
  • Ensure that individuals' care plans and risk assessments are accurate, up-to-date, and regularly reviewed to meet best practice requirements and national standards.
  • Help the service to recruit and develop new care workers, supporting, supervising, and performance managing them.
  • Develop effective relationships with key stakeholders, including employees, individuals, their families, healthcare professionals, and our partners.

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care with a willingness to undertake Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care.
  • All mandatory training relevant to the role, including safeguarding, Mental Capacity Act, and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards.
  • Previous management/supervisory experience.
  • Good understanding of safeguarding, Mental Capacity Act, and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards in community settings.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, and weekends, with sleep-ins where necessary.
  • Ability to work alone and as part of a team.
