The Rose and Crown is an iconic pub located in the heart of Newport Pagnell, a charming historic market town near Milton Keynes. Our welcoming atmosphere and strong community ties have made us a favorite among locals and visitors alike.
We are seeking a dedicated and hands-on Publican to lead our team and take our business to the next level. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing a busy pub environment, with a proven track record of providing exceptional customer service and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations, including staffing, stock control, and cash handling
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase foot traffic and sales
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and local stakeholders
- Monitor and improve profitability through effective cost management and revenue generation
We offer a competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including a pension scheme and staff discounts.
