Aerospace Technologist

We are seeking an experienced Aerospace Technologist to join our team at SOLOS Consultants Ltd in Oxford. The successful candidate will hold a Part 66 B1.3 Licence and have extensive experience in aircraft maintenance.

This is a full-time, 12-month contract initially with the possibility of extension. The role involves working as a team leader and supervising maintenance fitters to ensure continued safe operation of the aircraft.

1. Perform maintenance inspections and repairs as directed by Maintenance Supervisors, requiring a Part 66 Licence in B1.3 (Turbine Rotorcraft).
2. Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve high standards and maintain a safe working environment.
3. Complete maintenance tasks, including airframe structure, power plant, and mechanical and electrical systems, with a focus on quality and efficiency.
4. Supervise and certify the work of maintenance fitters.
5. Assist with day-to-day operations, including aircraft movement and general housekeeping responsibilities.

1. A Part 66 B1.3 Licence is essential; candidates without a licence but with relevant experience may be considered if studying for a licence.
2. Demonstrate flexibility to meet the needs of the company and its customers.

The estimated salary for this role is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, dependent on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, the successful candidate will receive SC clearance eligibility and DBS Security Clearance.
