Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled LGV Driver to join our team at Culina Group. As a key member of our transport operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods.

Key Responsibilities

  • Report to the Transport Coordinator at the start of shift and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed.
  • Adhere to company rules and procedures, including health, safety, and hygiene protocols.
  • Maintain a good working knowledge of operations within the transport department and effectively manage your working time.
  • Ensure daily vehicle checks are completed and report any issues to the Transport Office.
  • Make deliveries to customers' premises in a professional manner and ensure proof of deliveries are signed and returned.
  • Communicate regularly with the Transport Office and Customer Services and observe site procedures at each delivery point.
  • Complete defect reports as required and achieve fuel efficiency targets set by the business.

Requirements

  • Possession of LGV Class C+E Licence and valid DCPC.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work without direct supervision.
  • Adaptable and methodical approach to work and training, with a conscientious and reliable attitude.
  • Professional and approachable communication skills, with the ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
  • Knowledge of Road Transport Directive and current drivers' hours.
