We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Engineering Instructor to join our team at Faslane. As a Marine Engineering Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training to students in the Marine Engineering and NSRP disciplines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Astute Class Training Service (ACTS) instruction to students, predominantly within the ME & NSRP disciplines.
  • Provide assistance with generic training, such as Astute Class Familiarisation and Submarine Qualification Training (SMQ).
  • Liaise with the Training Design (TD) team to review and amend ME and NSRP courseware.
  • Provide SME support to the review and evaluation of technical data/notifications of change, identifying the impact of change on existing ME and NSRP courseware.
  • Conduct all administration and reporting activities associated with the delivery of training to contractual requirement.
  • Provide SME advice in support of the Marine Training Directorate.
Requirements
  • Ex Royal Navy (RN) Category A or Category B NSRP watch keeper.
  • Core "H" experience.
  • Dual electrical and mechanical qualification (Double Category B).
  • Defence Train the Trainer Version 2.
  • Recent sea experience on Astute Class submarines.
  • Previous experience of training delivery.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £50,000, plus additional company benefits including PPE supplied, exceptional career development opportunities, and enhanced pension contributions.
