We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Physiotherapist to join our Neurology team at London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust. As a Specialist Physiotherapist, you will play a key role in providing high-quality care to patients with complex neurological conditions.
Main ResponsibilitiesAs a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with neurological disabilities, working closely with clinical leads to develop and implement effective treatment plans. You will also contribute to the management of the Neurology Inpatient Physiotherapy Service, prioritizing and organizing referrals, and allocating patients to the most suitable therapists.
You will work as part of a rostered 7-day neuro service and respiratory on-call rota, providing 24/7 coverage for our patients. Additionally, you will be responsible for the development and appraisal of team members, including Band 5, 4, and 2 physiotherapists, as well as students.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and interdisciplinary team, working with a wide range of patients with complex neurological conditions. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in neurology physiotherapy, working closely with senior therapists and clinical leads.
We are looking for a Physiotherapist who is passionate about delivering high-quality care, has excellent communication skills, and is able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Requirements- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy
- HCPC registration
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Band 5 Physiotherapist, including experience in neurology, respiratory, and MSK
- NHS experience
- Responsibility for on-call duties
