Fabric Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Fabric Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Integral UK Ltd. As a Fabric Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for undertaking all building fabric activities, with repairs undertaken where necessary to achieve the highest level of service for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Undertake weekly and monthly planned maintenance tasks as scheduled, including fire alarm and sprinkler tests, water temperature recording, emergency lighting tests, AHU maintenance, generator testing, fire door inspections, and more.
  2. Conduct monthly utilities meter readings.
  3. Provide first-line response to reactive repairs.
  4. Perform re-lamping of defective lighting.
  5. Carry out minor building fabric repairs, including basic carpentry, carpet tiling, locks, paving, and minor decorating tasks.
  6. Undertake minor plumbing repairs.
  7. Perform general office cleaning as scheduled for remote sites.
  8. Support external landscaping and cleaning as required.
  9. Assist with ad-hoc porterage duties, including moves and changes, furniture management, and more.
  10. Maintain accurate documentation of all assigned work orders.
  11. Comply fully with Health, Safety, and Environmental policies.
  12. Provide excellent customer service to building occupants, ensuring they are informed of work order progress in a timely manner.
  13. Proactively walk the floors, reporting any maintenance or H&S issues to the helpdesk and appropriate manager.
Requirements
  1. Experience within a similar position within a maintenance environment, holding relevant qualifications, such as a time-served apprenticeship, C&G, or equivalent.
  2. Knowledge of toolbox talks, Permit to Work procedures, and safe systems of working.
  3. Capability to perform manual tasks, including manual handling and working at heights.
  4. Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to use computers.
  5. Good Health and Safety awareness and knowledge.
  6. Use of access equipment.
  7. MEWPS/Scaffold Towers (IPAF 1b, 3a, 3b) License desired.
  8. Legionella awareness.
  9. L8 training.
