Procurement Specialist

Job Summary:
The Recruitment Co. is seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our client's team in the Baglan area. As a key member of the procurement team, you will be responsible for procuring raw and auxiliary materials, managing relationships with suppliers, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods.
Main Responsibilities:
- Procure raw and auxiliary materials, taking into account production plans, stock levels, warehouse balances, and master agreement conditions.
- Pursue service level targets assigned to the plant.
- Manage relationships with raw materials suppliers, negotiating delivery times and quantities.
- Collaborate with the PM/CNV Planner to discuss production plan feasibility in relation to raw materials availability.
- Liaise with the Purchase Office to highlight any problems detected with suppliers.
- Work with the local Transport Office to coordinate daily operations.
- Coordinate inventory activities for relevant products.
- Ensure the correct management of relevant processes in accordance with group policies and procedures.
- Promote a safety-bound corporate culture.
- Apply Corporate Principles and Values.
Candidate Requirements:
- An engineering or economics degree or equivalent.
- Experience with SAP systems.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to prioritize and problem-solve.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role is required. Ideally, you will come from a manufacturing background. DBS checks will be carried out, and the company offers a no-conviction policy. A driving license is desirable due to the location.
