Job Title: Design Manager - Water Sector Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Design Manager to lead a portfolio of projects in the Water sector. As a Design Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the buildability and value engineering of projects, leading a design team, and managing design deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design team to ensure that they meet client requirements and project objectives
  • Manage the design function to ensure that design deliverables are produced to allocated key dates
  • Organize design elements, documenting them into the Design Management Plan and preparing regular status updates
  • Attend Programme, project, and technical meetings
  • Provide support during construction and commissioning stages of work
  • Ensure that design complies with all Health and Safety codes and legislation

Requirements:

  • HND/Degree in an engineering-related discipline
  • Extensive experience working in a multi-disciplinary design environment
  • Experience of working on major projects within the Water sector, involving both Civil and M&E aspects

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary: £58,000 - £68,000 per annum
