Award-winning Ashdown Group is seeking an experienced and passionate Nursery Manager to lead our team of exceptional educators in a truly wonderful and nurturing setting. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the planning, delivery, and assessment of a high-quality, play-based curriculum that fosters children's development in a stimulating environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of dedicated early years educators, promoting continuous professional development and ensuring a motivated workforce.
- Oversee the nursery's financial performance, including budgeting, invoicing, and resource allocation, ensuring efficient operations while maintaining the highest standards of care.
- Build strong relationships with parents and carers, ensuring they are actively involved in their child's learning and implementing strategies to attract new families and maintain a positive reputation for the nursery.
- Ensure all policies and procedures related to safeguarding, child protection, and health and safety are strictly followed, creating a safe, caring, and compliant environment for both children and staff.
- Manage the recruitment, training, and performance of the nursery team, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- A minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education.
- Proven experience in a leadership or management role within an Early Years setting.
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
- A deep understanding of safeguarding, health and safety, and childcare regulations.
- Financial management experience, including budget control and reporting.
