Head of Financial Planning

Carpenter Farraday is seeking a seasoned professional to lead its financial planning function. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with high-net-worth clients, creating tailored financial plans, and staying up-to-date on industry trends and regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their financial goals and needs.
  • Design and implement comprehensive financial plans, including investment strategies and risk assessments.
  • Conduct regular reviews of clients' financial situations and adjust plans as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and transactions.
  • Stay informed on industry developments and regulatory changes to provide clients with expert advice.
Management and Mentoring
  • Mentor and support a team of financial planners, promoting a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Conduct employee reviews to ensure ongoing competence and client service standards.
  • Take ownership of the advice process, reviewing policies and procedures to ensure alignment with regulatory and company requirements.
  • Challenge processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Deliver management information to the board periodically.
Business Development
  • Identify opportunities for business growth and development.
  • Support key projects and initiatives within the business.
