At Marriott International, we're seeking a skilled Sommelier to join our team at Booking Office 1869. As a wine connoisseur, you'll have the opportunity to work with our team to create unforgettable dining and drink experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Bar Team during service, providing expert wine recommendations to our guests.
  • Contribute to the ordering process, ensuring seamless service.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of wine pairings and drink menus.
  • Collaborate with the Bar Supervisors to deliver exceptional service and maximize revenue.
  • Participate in wine nights, wine pairings, and events, showcasing your expertise and passion for wine.
  • Lead the team on the floor, ensuring our associates are following brand standards and delivering outstanding service.
  • Work closely with the supervisor's team to provide training opportunities for our team on hosting duties and sales.
  • Maintain a positive, supportive attitude and adhere to our brand's grooming standards at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a luxury hotel environment.
  • Strong understanding of standards and procedures.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels.
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for delivering excellence in customer service.
