Ashford, Kent, United Kingdom EKC Group Full time

About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Computing Lecturer to join our team at EKC Ashford College. As a Computing Lecturer, you will have the opportunity to inspire and shape the next generation of tech innovators.

You will teach, train, and assess students across dynamic learning environments, creating engaging, hands-on experiences that bring the world of computing to life. Your role will be key in guiding and supporting learners to unlock their full potential, helping them master the skills needed to excel in this ever-evolving field.

We pride ourselves in the support we can give those who are new to teaching, with ongoing training and coaching through our TeacherAcademy. So, if you do not have any teaching experience or teacher qualifications but have a passion for sharing your knowledge and would like to be considered for this teaching role, please apply.

About You

If you're organised, creative, and can craft engaging, innovative lessons, this role is perfect for you. Your ability to connect with students, assess their progress, and provide tailored support will be essential in helping them develop the skills they need to succeed in the tech world.

We're looking for someone with experience teaching or delivering training in the workplace, but don't worry if you're new to education—comprehensive training will be provided. What matters most is your positive attitude, empathy for learners, and strong classroom management skills that create a productive, inspiring learning environment.

In this role, you'll be familiar with the T Level in Digital Production and have the flexibility to teach a range of programming languages. You'll guide students across various study programs, from Level 1 to Level 3, motivating them to reach new heights and excel in their courses.

We offer a competitive salary and holiday entitlement, as well as access to 100's of online discounts via our Rewards Scheme. We also focus on our employees' well-being, with a generous pension scheme, cycle to work, car leasing, and tech purchasing schemes.

What We Offer
