We are seeking a highly skilled Electronics Engineer to join our Research and Development Team at ECU Testing. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the continuous improvement and development of our legacy products.
Key Responsibilities:- Power up ECUs on the bench and test specific circuits and functions using wiring diagrams and pin data.
- Analyze ECUs and their PCBAs to discover the cause of electronic faults and enact repairs where possible.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
- Collaborate with the team to close loops of information and train technicians on new procedures.
- Experience in electronic fault finding to component level and PCB rework methods.
- Proficiency in electronic schematic/wiring diagram drawings.
- Well-organized with a methodical approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent team player with attention to detail.
- Knowledge and experience of automotive operations, electronics, and communication protocols.
