Role Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mammography Radiographer to join our team at Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exceptional opportunity to specialize in breast health and contribute to delivering high-quality patient care.

The successful candidate will possess a strong background in diagnostic radiography, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to continuous professional development. In return, we offer a competitive salary of £42,000-£58,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Key Responsibilities
  • To provide specialist mammography services to patients, adhering to strict quality standards and protocols.
  • To develop and implement quality assurance programmes, ensuring optimal equipment performance and patient safety.
  • To collaborate with radiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
  • Degree in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent qualification.
  • Registration with the HCPC as a Radiographer.
  • Certificate of Competence in Mammography or Postgraduate Award in Mammography Practice.
  • Experience in mammography or breast screening unit.
