Senior Waste Management Consultant

We are partnering with a leading client in the nuclear industry to recruit a Senior Waste Management Consultant. Our client provides innovative solutions and services across various sectors, including mining, chemistry, and enrichment, recycling, decommissioning, and nuclear packages and services.

The role of a Waste Management Consultant is to provide technical expertise and utilize relevant experience to deliver effective and tailored waste management solutions to clients in the UK nuclear industry for decommissioning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver tasks in waste management and other areas as required, according to contract specifications, to clients as per business priority.
  • Work with project managers to build waste management plans.
  • Contribute to business development by supporting proposals, delivering internal activities, and seeking and implementing improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and implement characterization strategies and produce sampling and analysis plans.
  • Undertake activities in support of continuous professional development.
  • Deliver high-quality waste consultancy, train junior staff, and develop the team.

The role is based in Abingdon and will require regular travel to other sites.

Full-time, permanent, 37 hours a week.

Hybrid working – 2 days minimum in the office each week, flexible working.

Free on-site parking.
