Austin Fraser, a Specialist SEN School based just outside Salisbury, requires a highly motivated and empathetic individual to fill the position of Mental Health Assistant.

In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting students with a range of social, emotional, and mental health needs. Our experienced team of Psychologists and Therapists will guide you in developing effective strategies to promote student wellbeing and academic achievement.

Your primary responsibilities will include providing general classroom support, assisting students in managing their emotions, and collaborating with teachers to create personalized learning plans.

This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates or recent graduates in Psychology or Criminology to gain hands-on experience in the mental health sector. You will develop essential skills in therapeutic practices, interpersonal relationships, and teamwork, setting you up for future success as a Psychologist, Therapist, or Counsellor.

We require a driven, adaptable, and compassionate individual who is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of our students. A competitive salary of £80-£90 per day awaits the successful candidate.
