Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Public Health Engineer to join our client's central London team. As a key member of the office's Public Health Engineering division, you will have the opportunity to work on diverse projects and lead the team in delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the public health engineering team, taking on project leadership roles as needed.
  2. Engage directly with clients, providing innovative design solutions and managing their expectations.
  3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and establish new connections with contractors, architects, and developers.
  4. Prepare technical and financial proposals for new projects, contributing to business growth and expansion.
  5. Oversee the workload of engineers and technicians, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to the highest standards.
  6. Develop and review technical specifications, ensuring they meet project requirements.
  7. Monitor the financial performance of projects, setting up and managing administrative systems, including planning and resource allocation.

Requirements:

  1. Extensive experience in public health engineering within an MEP or multidisciplinary consultancy, with proven experience as a project leader.
  2. A broad background across various sectors, ideally with experience in large-scale projects.
  3. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, architects, and team members.
  4. Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering.
  5. Professional registration with a relevant institution, such as CIBSE or IMechE.
