Henderson Drake is seeking an accomplished Principal Consultant - Financial Planning and Analytics to lead the delivery of cutting-edge financial planning and analytics solutions. Role Overview:As the Principal Consultant, you will be at the forefront of implementing and optimizing Workday Adaptive Insights solutions for a diverse client base. Your expertise will drive the successful execution of projects, ensuring that client needs are met with precision and that Henderson Drake maintains its reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the full lifecycle of Workday Adaptive Insights implementations, from initial scoping to post-go-live support, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong, lasting relationships to fully understand their business needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Lead the design of robust financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting solutions using Workday Adaptive Insights, ensuring alignment with client business objectives.
- Provide in-depth knowledge of Workday Adaptive Insights, staying current with the latest product features and industry best practices.
- Mentor and guide junior consultants, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment that supports professional growth and project success.
- Ensure that all deliverables meet the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the business development team on pre-sales activities, including scoping, proposal development, and client presentations.
- Contribute to Henderson Drake's thought leadership initiatives, such as producing white papers, case studies, and participating in industry events.
- A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in implementing Workday Adaptive Insights solutions.
- Deep knowledge of Workday Adaptive Insights, including model building, reporting, dashboard creation, and system integrations.
- Proven track record in a client-facing consulting role, with experience leading complex implementations from start to finish.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with senior stakeholders and translating technical concepts into business language.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field; a relevant master's degree or professional qualification (e.g., CIMA, ACCA) is preferred.
- Workday Adaptive Insights certification is highly desirable.
