About the Role

Lavazza Professional UK is looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Lead to join our team. This role is responsible for leading accounts receivable activities, including customer classification, scoring processes, and payment terms.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, with experience in credit management, accounting, and finance. They will be responsible for tracking customer credit exposure, executing payment requests, and debt collection activities.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, where you will be responsible for gathering and processing data for KPIs and metrics to measure accounts receivable performance. You will also generate reports for management, process intercompany transactions, and contribute to period-end close processes.

The successful candidate will be a skilled communicator, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. They will also have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead accounts receivable activities, including customer classification, scoring processes, and payment terms;
  • Manage accounts receivable, including invoice customer processing, payment collection, and maintaining customer relations;
  • Perform customer classification and scoring processes, applying appropriate customer classifications and providing updates;
  • Contribute in establishing means of payment and payment terms for customers according to case scenarios;
  • Assess and update customer credit limit within the framework established by management;
  • Keep track of credit exposure for signs of default, reporting potential risks to management;
  • Execute activities related to payment requests and debt collection based on credit ageing and amount;
  • Gather and process data for KPIs and metrics to measure accounts receivable effectiveness;
