Northridge Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Senior Treasury / ALM Dealer to join our client's team in Oman. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a leading Bank undergoing a significant transformation program to enhance its digital offerings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute day-to-day trading activities within the Money Market Desk, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.
  • Contribute to the desk's profitability by identifying and implementing innovative trading strategies.
  • Support the development and implementation of long-term strategies for the desk, leveraging expertise in foreign exchange, derivatives, and fixed income.
  • Liquidity Management: Follow up on overdue documents, support business units, and enhance credit application quality.
  • Interest Rate Management: Provide recommendations tied to credit risk analysis and keep up-to-date with lending protocols.
  • Capital Adequacy: Assess credit risk and recommend capital allocation and provisioning.
  • Funding Cost Optimization: Provide recommendations tied to credit risk analysis.
  • Ensure Compliance: Understand and adhere to internal and external rules, regulations, and procedures.
  • Risk Management: Stay up-to-date with key issues, including legal, market risk, and compliance.
  • Balance Sheet Optimization: Conduct financial statement analysis, reconcile credit files, and identify discrepancies.
Requirements

The ideal candidate must have experience in a Treasury function and a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Banking, Finance, or Accounting. A CFA certification is preferred, and previous experience in the financial or banking sector is required.
