Key Responsibilities

  • We are seeking an experienced Trade Mark Paralegal to manage high-profile trade mark portfolios and provide expert support to clients.
  • The successful candidate will be involved in conducting and assessing trade mark searches and clearances, drafting and filing UK and international trade mark applications, advising on registrability and strength of trade marks, managing communications from trade mark offices, and handling the renewal and maintenance of trade mark registrations.
  • In addition, the Trade Mark Paralegal will support the team in managing trade mark disputes, including oppositions and cancellation actions.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 1 year's experience in trade mark portfolio management, gained either in private practice or an in-house environment.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential for this role.
  • Proficiency with trade mark databases and online research tools is also required.
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide clear and practical advice to clients.
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset and the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively are essential for success in this position.

Compensation

We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits.
