We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Orthopaedic Physiotherapist to join our dynamic Orthopaedic and Musculoskeletal Therapy Teams at University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a busy clinical caseload, supervising and training junior staff, and contributing to quality projects and service development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in orthopaedic therapy and musculoskeletal therapy, with excellent communication and leadership skills.
Main Responsibilities:- Manage a complex caseload of orthopaedic patients with a variety of conditions
- Supervise and train junior staff in orthopaedic and musculoskeletal therapy
- Contribute to quality projects and service development in orthopaedic and musculoskeletal therapy
- Develop and implement therapy pathways and protocols in orthopaedic and musculoskeletal therapy
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care
- BSc (Hons)/MSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy or equivalent
- Evidence of CPD practice
- HPCP registered
- Able to speak English to level of role requirement
- Member of Chartered Society of Physiotherapy
- Membership of appropriate clinical interest group
- Led in audit/service development
