**Job Summary**
We are seeking an experienced Construction Site Operations Specialist to join our team in the Asset Operations & Capital Delivery division.
This role will involve working closely with stakeholders to support the design and delivery of construction projects, ensuring that all necessary documentation is complete and compliant.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a strong understanding of health and safety protocols on construction sites.
**Key Responsibilities**
• Support essential design and delivery reviews, identifying risks and issues, and collaborating with stakeholders to resolve them.
• Assess and report project progress during the construction phase, acting to rectify issues and escalating problems when necessary.
• Identify and resolve snags while liaising with operators and contractors after takeover, handling defects, aftercare processes, and performance testing.
• Monitor, agree on, and approve Takeover tests with the project team.
• Ensure that required project documentation meets specifications and is approved for taking over.
• Work as an active member of one or more project teams with contractors, requiring on-site presence 3-4 days a week, 36 hours a week, Monday to Friday.
The successful candidate must drive and have a car.
**Requirements**
• Hold an HNC or above in an engineering subject or background in a similar role.
• Knowledge of health and safety on construction sites or holding an SMSTS qualification, which can be offered as part of the role if not currently held.
• Understand design, construction, and operations within industries like the water sector.
• Have a background in project delivery within the construction sector.
• Foster a positive health and safety culture within the team and contractors, ensuring compliance with environmental and health and safety statutory obligations.
**Benefits**
We offer a competitive salary from £40,000 to £60,000 per annum, a car allowance of £4,500 a year, and 26 days holiday increasing to 30 with length of service (plus bank holidays).

**Location**
This role is based in Hybrid - Hampton Coal Wharf - TW12 2ES, with occasional travel to Hybrid - Maple Lodge (STW) - WD3 9SQ.
