About the Audit Senior Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Audit Senior to join our team at TC Group. As a key member of our audit team, you will be responsible for leading the audit process from planning to completion, working closely with Audit Managers and clients to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the audit process, including planning, execution, and completion
  • Undertake non-audit assignments, such as accounts preparation and tax computations
  • Prepare job budgets and liaise with Managers on any issues
  • Demonstrate good utilisation of relevant software and an awareness of clients' businesses
  • Assist in the development of others, providing feedback and coaching as needed
  • Share best practices and ideas within the team for process improvement
  • Communicate effectively with clients and manage Partner and Manager expectations
  • Stay informed about legislative, technical, and regulatory changes

About You:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified
  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in an Audit capacity, ideally in Practice
  • Good level of technical knowledge of Audit & Accounting standards
  • Knowledge of accounting systems and control environments within a finance function
  • Previous knowledge of the charities and academy sector would be advantageous
  • Familiar with accounting software, including Sage and Xero
  • Strong Excel skills, including vlookup, sumif, and Pivot Tables
  • Ability to communicate and engage with clients in a professional manner
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
