About the Role:

NRL is proud to be working with a leading global company on a journey to net zero emissions. As a key member of the Operations and Maintenance leadership team, you will play a crucial role in the success of the largest offshore wind farm in the world.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Marine, Logistics and Facilities (MLF) management team, overseeing multiple large-scale Vessel and Facilities contracts.
  • Establish and implement effective management systems and work processes to ensure seamless logistics operations.
  • Manage logistics requirements in SAP, warehouse, and other systems to optimize efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain contracts related to logistical operations, security, and facility management.
  • Collaborate with the construction project team to ensure O&M Base usage and vessel sharing.
  • Ensure the Dogger Bank operations and Port of Tyne base have sufficient vessels and logistics set-up and support.
  • Act as the owner of the O&M Base facilities and be responsible for associated facility management.
  • Hold the role of Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO), working with the Department of Transport to ensure ISPS implementation.
  • Manage spares and material inventory at site, including goods manifesting and handling of dangerous goods.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Significant experience in a similar maritime logistics role, preferably within offshore wind.
  • Extensive management experience of a warehousing and logistics team.
  • Proven track record of managing vessel contracts, warehousing, stores, and logistics.
  • Familiarity with SAP material handling systems.
