RWE AG is seeking an experienced Wind Turbine Technician to join their team at the Rampion Offshore Wind Farm.

About the Job:
As a Wind Turbine Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine and corrective maintenance tasks on wind turbines and associated generation network. You will utilize SCADA systems to monitor turbine performance and identify areas for improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and Servicing: Perform routine and corrective maintenance tasks on wind turbines and associated generation network.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize SCADA systems to monitor turbine performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Project Work: Participate in various projects, such as upgrades, retrofits, and major component exchanges.

Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Technical Expertise: A significant background in mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic engineering, ideally with a relevant NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
  • Physical Fitness: The capacity to work in complex conditions, including offshore environments and at height.
  • Flexibility: A willingness to work a shift pattern and infrequently work offshore overnight when specialist projects arise.
  • Location: You must live a reasonable distance to site or be willing to relocate.

Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
