As an Account Manager at Anaphite, you will work at the heart of our organization as part of the Commercial team in close collaboration with the Technical and Operational teams to collect customer requirements, deliver customer projects, and build our customer service and sales processes.
The role plays a vital part in the Anaphite customer experience, ensuring excellent communication and organization skills are applied daily. Responsibilities:
- Presentation and Communication: Present and explain Anaphite's offer and its advantages to existing and new customers at trade shows and meetings both online and in person.
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers and suppliers, championing the benefits of Anaphite's technology.
- Process Development: Develop Anaphite's customer service and sales processes working with the Operations and Finance Teams.
- Customer Understanding: Work intimately with customers to understand their needs, requirements, and processes, representing the voice of the customer internally in Product Development, defining requirements for customer delivery, and developing a customer-specific value proposition.
- Account Planning: Develop and deliver customer account plans with the Commercial & Partnerships Lead, championing the use of Anaphite's CRM system to effectively track, report, forecast, and plan commercial opportunities.
- Negotiation Support: Support the Commercial & Partnerships Lead and CEO in developing and negotiating commercial and legal agreements.
- Marketing Collaboration: Support Marketing and Communications Manager to produce content for public and customer marketing and communications campaigns.
- Project Management: Schedule customer projects including timelines and resource planning with Team managers.
- Customer Project Delivery: Manage customer projects to completion by working closely with the technical teams and Operations to ensure timely delivery, compliance with data and quality control processes, and provide excellent customer service to Anaphite's customers.
- Delegation and Travel: Deputise for Commercial & Partnerships Lead where necessary and travel internationally to represent Anaphite at events and in customer and supplier interactions.
Requirements:
- A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Management, Science, or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Extensive experience building relationships with customers, partners, or suppliers to deliver on strategic goals.
- Experience maintaining Customer Relationship Management systems (e.g., Salesforce or HubSpot) to track and report on progress, forecast, and plan future work.
- Experience scheduling and managing complex projects, including resource allocation and measuring project success.
- Resilience and adaptability working in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentational skills, with an appreciation for communicating with non-native English speakers.
- Ability to demonstrate credibility in both technical and commercial environments across different levels of seniority.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to balance competing priorities.
- Analytical skills across a range of types of data.
- Technically minded, with an interest in technical developments or willingness to learn.
- International travel may be required, and flexible working hours during certain periods may be necessary.
