About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Research Associate to join our team at the Cancer Research UK Cambridge Institute. The successful candidate will be responsible for investigating the mechanisms of vasculogenic mimicry in cancer development and progression.
Key Responsibilities- Design and conduct experiments to study vasculogenic mimicry in syngeneic and xenograft models of human cancers
- Analyze data and interpret results to identify key mechanisms and pathways involved in vasculogenic mimicry
- Collaborate with other researchers to develop and implement new experimental approaches and techniques
- Present research findings at internal and external meetings and conferences
- PhD in a relevant discipline, such as cancer biology or cell biology
- Significant experience in small animal models of cancer, cell biology techniques, and histology
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
